Cru Holdings, a leading hospitality and travel company in the Highlands of Scotland jetted off on their annual Award Winners Retreat, where 8 lucky award winners joined the executive team in Turkey this March. 

Following the annual Team Achievement and Recognition Awards which took place in February at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness, all employees of the year from CRU Hospitality and Murray Travel were invited to join the executive team for 4 nights at an all-inclusive, five-star retreat where they experienced some of the best hospitality that the resort of Side on the Turkish Riviera has to offer.

The group stayed at the stunning 5-star Side Star Hotel where they enjoyed relaxing in the sun next to the tropical-style pools, blissful spa treatments, an extensive range of delicious food from the numerous restaurants and of course the great range of drinks available from the hotel bars.

Day one started with some racing action as everyone headed off to do some go-karting. After splitting into two groups, each team got ready to go head-to-head on the track. Miraculously, no major injuries were sustained as it appeared that some team members forgot about the difference between go-karting and bumper cars. It was too close to decide on the winners, so everyone headed back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the day by the pool or in the spa.

The following days saw the team enjoying a guided tour from Scott around the Side old town and Antalya’s historic old town exploring the ruins, taking in the beautiful views, and of course stopping for a few cocktails on route. After a delicious meal back at the hotel, everyone got their glad rags on and headed out for an evening of drinks, dancing, and of course some karaoke.

With food always on the agenda, the highlight of the evening was an impressive 8-course tasting menu at the chef’s table at the stunning Alma Restaurant. Each course showcased unique and exquisite flavours with the service being second to none.

The team then enjoyed the beautiful sunset in more of the luxurious surroundings at Alma before letting the evening continue well into the small hours.

This was truly a trip to remember with each of the award winners feeling incredibly thankful to be part of a company that shows its staff as much appreciation as CRU Holdings does.
