With a boosted food trade, internal promotions & a brand new fantastic menu, we are looking to add a strong chef to our team.

Job responsibilities & ideal candidate attributes:

- Must be able to work well both unsupervised and part of a team 

- A can-do attitude towards their work, eagerness to learn & innovate

- Assist the head chef and management team in driving food sales

- Cover for the head chef during holidays

- A keen eye for detail, following recipe specs & keeping a clean, safe environment

- Working the pass, placing orders & taking deliveries, doing prep, managing all sections in the kitchen 

- Open & close the kitchen to a high standard 

- Participate in in-house and external training 

- Cope well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

- We really are one big family at Scotch & Rye, and we want to welcome someone who is going to fit in with our team
